Electric Objects
LCD Display for Art (WiFi)
Time magazine chose the EO1 as one of The 25 Best Inventions of 2014 (along with the Apple Watch, the BMW i3 electric car, and a High-beta fusion reactor). We worked with Electric Objects to help make their EO1 concept into a refined and easy-to-use product. Mounting an LCD screen on the wall is never fun, so we developed a simple system that has a built-in level, large holes that allow you to be a little off with your drilling, and features that let you raise, lower or rotate the screen, without having to redrill holes. If you’re putting three EO1s on the wall, this feature makes it easy to have them all level and at the same height. We also developed an elegant trim frame that magnetically attaches to the front of the EO1, and lets you personalize your EO1 with a variety of real wood finishes, or anodized aluminum, so you can make your EO1 look like it’s yours.
“I have even resisted buying a television. But after seeing a prototype, I was impressed by the simplicity of the machine. And if people are willing to buy stand-alone gadgets to play music, monitor their health and help manage their homes, why not purchase one for culture and art?”

The EO1 has received many rave reviews, and immediately sold out with a 4 month wait list.
